Week 005: Masticate // Öyküler

Title: Öyküler
Rating: E for Everyone
Genre: Historically tinged.
Characters/Pairings: Türkiye, Greece.
Summary: 1901, the decline of the Ottoman Empire: sink or swim or both.
Words: 299
Notes: One of the many measures taken by the reformist government in the Ottoman Empire's final days was the slaughter/exile of the infamous gangs of dogs that roamed Constantinople, an attempt to revitalize and Westernize it.

Week 005: Masticate // Pineapple

Title: Pineapple
Rating: PG for allusions to violence
Genre: General, contemplative again??
Characters/Pairings: America, OC Alaska, OC Hawaii, mentions of England.
Summary: It's Hawaii's 50th birthday party.
Notes: Musubi tries to be all literary again...>3<

The American English phrase, “to chew over something” means to think about it.  It's Hawaii's 50th birthday party and Al mulls over the island Nation and sweet, sweet pineapple.

Week 005 - Masticate - Of Poets, Pirates, and Pilots

Title: Of Poets, Pirates, and Pilots
Rating: PGish
Words: 300 (exactly!!! Huzzah!)
Summary: France, England, and Spain. At one point or another they had used her and abused her; chewed her and spat her out like a piece of New World Tobacco. But this downed pilot...when he met her, he loved her instantly, and for herself.
Notes: I almost wish I'd waited for a longer one-shot with this project, because I'm loving the concept so much. I'll probably write more for this pairing in the future. Rather inspired by the remarkable Jimmy Buffett and the love of the tropics he portrays in his music.

Week 005: Masticate. 11/22/63 12:30

Title: 11/22/63 12:30
Rating: Not sure- PG/PG13, see the notes. Dx
Genre: Drama. Retrospective.
Characters/Pairings: Ivan and America. xD
Summary: Russia misses the mark, but offers his condolences.
Words: 300 EXACTLY. XDD;
Notes: Somewhat happy with this. xD PG13, as I am touching on a touchy subject with the impartiality of Russia, during the middle of the Cold War. Because of the revolution in his country, he further has communist tendencies, and quotes from the Manifesto. I made a few references in here, such as to the Communist insignia. He also refers to Alfred as 'America' whilst himself as 'Ivan' as he is special  I wanted to keep it with the comic. xD

Other note: As seen in the fake cut to the full version in my journal, this was inspired through a roundabout way by qualapec. xDCollapse )

( "Full, not-cut-down-as-too-long-version." ) <- MUCH nicer, damn it. D:
